Gaming League Proposal

The LEAGUE will consist of five TEAMs composed of five PLAYERs..

Each PLAYER will have the opportunity to play one GAME each week during the duration of the season.

GAMEs will be played by one PLAYER from each TEAM.  If there are not sufficient PLAYERs to play a GAME, multiple players from a TEAM may play the same GAME.

If multiple players from the same TEAM play the same GAME they will earn one point for their TEAM AND no points for their INDIVIDUAL STANDING.

Winners of a GAME will earn two points for their TEAM and one point for their INDIVIDUAL STANDINGs.
Players in second place will earn one point for their TEAM.

GAMEs may be played with any number of PLAYERs who are in the league or not.  If a non-league player wins a GAME all league TEAMs participating in that GAME lose one point from their team standings.  (It’s not cool to let non-gamers win games we play with them.)

GAMEs will be scheduled on the LEAGUE’s website TBD.  A post of GAMEs for the week will be made and suggestions for VENUE, GAME, and PLAYERs will be left as comments.

The last friday of the season LEAGUE GAMEs may be played at Friday Night Dice.  Any number of GAMEs may be played until Friday Night Dice closes.  At that time the standings are frozen and the winners for that season are declared.  In the event of a tie a game of chess will be used as a tiebreaker.

FEEs for the LEAGUE will be used to purchase the LEAGUE TROPHY and INDIVIDUAL TROPHY.  And money left over at the end of the season will be awarded to the winning TEAM and INDIVIDUAL PLAYER.  Any method may be used to determine the split of prizes.
